The project recognises and honours up to 100 women each year for recent contributions and/or achievements that benefit their company, industry sector or the entire energy industry.

Candidates must have lived and/or worked some time during the last four years in the western hemisphere (North-, South-, and/or Latin-America, and all associated islands).

Key Women in Energy-Global is one of a series of honours programs honouring excellence in energy.  Fifty women are selected from hundreds of nominees for this prestigious award which recognises outstanding individuals for recent contributions and/or achievements that benefit their company, industry sector or the entire global energy industry.
